OPEN GARDENS 2023

Thank you Harberton for helping to make this year’s Open Gardens another splendid success.  Whether you opened your garden, submitted a work of art, shared your Classic Car, provided cakes and refreshments, or just came along and enjoyed all of the above, it was a glorious weekend.

Here are some comments from visitors to the village.

Really enjoyed visiting so many very different gardens and chatting with the welcoming owners 

Especially good to see what people had done with very small spaces. Lovely to see large gardens and tiny ones all within a short walk of each other.

We so enjoyed the day and made new friends.

The farm shop was a revelation with superb coffee.

 

So well done everyone.  You demonstrated what a wonderful place Harberton is to live in and managed to raise around £2,500 for Harberton Church Community Fund at the same time.  £400 of that came from the sale of the beautiful and varied pieces produced by our local artists.  Another thing for us to be proud of!
