A weekend full of joy, hope and peace..

OPEN GARDENS 2023

Thank you Harberton for helping to make this year’s Open Gardens another splendid success.  Whether you opened your garden, submitted a work of art, shared your Classic Car, provided cakes and refreshments, or just came along and enjoyed all of the above, it was a glorious weekend.

Big Breakfast 2023

Big Breakfast - another hit in 2023

Our first Big Breakfast, in October 2022, was a great success, with delicious Continental and Full English Breakfasts served in our Parish Hall to over one hundred people.  The PCC are responsible for this lovely occasion and once again there was a great atmosphere with people of all ages enjoying the warm village vibe.

Christmas Tree Festival 2022

The weather was not kind to us for this event, with one day of dangerous iciness and the next beset by gales and torrential rain!  But once again St Andrew's was a haven of light and beauty, with warming soup and delicious cake to add to the joy. Young and old braved the elements to enjoy the wonderful creativity of the villagers who had decorated the trees.  A total of £1,867 was raised and the Festival closed with a traditional Carol Service.

Look in the Gallery to see more pictures of the event.

2022

This yrear's Open Gardens and Craft Fair took place over a weekend of blistering heat and once again illustrated the extraordinary diversity of natural beauty, artistic talent and culinary expertise in and around our village.  Many thanks to all those who contributed.

2022

Did you visit our fascinating Photographic Exhibition in the summer of 2022?  We put it together to tell some of the stories hidden in our magnificent medieval church. We hope this will become an annual event, running through the summers to stimulate interest and make people look again at our historic church building.

Jonathan Bean, who curated the exhibition, has now put it into albums which can be found at the back of the Church.
