Open Gardens and Art Exhibition 2026

Back at the Hall, there was the usual feast on offer with lunches, cream teas and cake. Finally, a wonderful display "Harberton in Bloom". The pictures may have been postcard size, but the artistic talent most certainly was not!

A photographic display also celebrated the Hall's 30th anniversary.

Thank you to everyone who contributed gardens, art, food or time to make this such a delightful occasion. More than £2,500 was raised for HCCF, which is wonderful, but it's not all about the money. It is about our community, which, judging by this weekend, is flourishing!

This year the weather favoured us - plenty of sunshine, but not the heat wave conditions all too common this summer. The gardens were as glorious and varied as ever and it was a joy to visit the village allotments and appreciate the hard work that goes on up there. Food, flowers and a glass of Pimms! Thank you!

Carole's Cards, Coffee and Cake

On March 14th, Carole Oldfield welcomed us into her studio for a feast of cards, coffee and delicious cake. Villagers and friends dropped in throughout the day and £480 was added to HCCF funds.

Christmas Tree Festival 2025

This was another glorious weekend which showed St Andrew's at its beautiful best and reminded us all why it is so important to preserve this amazing building for the Harberton community, who turned out in force to the opening on Thursday evening

Welcome to Father Sebastian

We were delighted to see Father Sebastian Mattapally officially licensed to serve in Harberton on 29th April. 2026. Fr Sebastian and his wife Alida were welcomed at the service and met many from the community at the reception afterwards.
