Wednesday 3rd November 2021Scaffolding goes up to examine the main ceiling and roof
With generous help from the National Churches Trust, the Devon Historic Churches Trust, The Headley Trust, The Elmgrant Trust, HCCF and a charitable trust which wishes to remain anonymous the PCC have got enough funding to undertake a crucial examination of the main ceiling and roof. There is concern about the condition of the ceiling and roof space and we await with trepidation the resulting report from our architect. Before he can take a good look scaffolding has been erected in several areas of the nave, the chancel and outside.
